Transitioning in any form is not easy. When it comes to our aging population we want to be there for them and for their families during difficult life changes. We bring calm to overwhelming situations, clarity to clutter, and grace to what many people want to avoid. Our work goes beyond logistics. We offer presence. We do our work quietly, skillfully, and with deep respect.
We support individuals and families at life's inflection point - downsizing for a move to a smaller place or assisted living, getting a home cleared out and ready for sale, or legacy decluttering.

What We Do
CONSULTATION - We will come to your home to do a walk-through and determine the scope of the job. We will discuss logistics, create a timeline, and also discuss if you would like us to manage the entire move including the hiring of partner vendors such as movers, cleaners, estate sale companies, and shredding companies.
THE EDIT - While every situation is unique, we can summarize the process of clearing out a house. Once a timeline has been established we will help you determine what you want to keep, donate, sell, or toss. You can be involved as much or as little as you want. We won't donate or toss without your approval, but we have excellent instincts on what items should stay or go, in addition to what items are of value, sentimental, or confidential. We will then get your approval prior to movement of items. Ideally we will have floor planned the new location for optimal flow and aesthetics. Should the job also involve the selling of the home, we can work with your realtor to determine if some furnishings should or could be left behind until the sale.
PACKING AND UNPACKING - After the edit is complete we will begin the process of organizing and packing items in their respective catagories. There is no cookie cutter way to describe this. We know that some items that you are keeping may be sentimental and going to designated to family members. You tell us what you want and we will handle your wishes with practicality. After all the packing and moving is complete, we will unpack and put everything away in your new space.
LEGACY DECLUTTERING - This is a service unto itself and one that is designed to lighten the load and ease the burden for your loved ones. This service creates peace of mind. We will help your sort your belongings with care and intention so that clutter is lessened and cherished items are passed on meaningfully. It's never too early to simplify and make space for what truly matters.
