
Organizing. How It Works
Good things take time and we work with each client to create a timeline to achieve the best results.
For some clients, faster is better and for others, it's a process that needs to work strategically
around their unique work and family schedule.
For all jobs and timelines, we work on a 5-step process:

Each job is unique and the times listed below are approximate. Once we have have had our initial consultation, we can give you a better idea of overall timing and costs.
Consultation
30 min to 1 hour
It all starts when we come to your house for a walk-through and a chance for us to get to know you, your space, and your goals.
We'll give you an estimate and a deadline for the next step: editing.
There is a $50 consultation fee that will be waived for clients that agree to book our services within 7 days of the consultation.
Installation
4-8 hours
For us, it's where the magic takes place. Folding, stacking, alphabetizing and color-coding, oh my: we reset your space with usage and convenience in mind. If additional installation services (shelving, furniture building, etc.) are needed, it happens at this time. If our timing is efficient and your schedule allows, we finish with the next step: the reveal.
Editing
4-8 hours
Editing items can arguably be the most difficult part of the job. It involves going through your items and declaring them keep, donate or toss. Depending on your comfort level, you can either handle this portion on your own (we'll set a deadline together) or we can help you through the process.
Reveal
Approx. 15 min
Our favorite part of every job!
At the end of the installation, we take the time to walk you through the transformation, showing you what we've done, why we've organized that way, and where all your things have ended up.
Organizing
8-16 hours
This is the part where you get to enjoy your life and we get to the good stuff. We categorize your items and measure your space for organizing products (we purchase based on your budget and you only pay for what we use). We then do any shopping needed and prepare for the next step: installation.
Costs
Varies
We work on an hourly rate for each job. Additional costs may include organizational products (no markup), installation services (shelving, building furniture, etc.), and a flat rate shopping fee (one per project). Additional fees/costs are discussed at the consultation.
