Decorating.  How It Works

Good things take time and we work with each client to create a timeline to achieve the best results.

For some clients, faster is better and for others, it's a process that needs to work strategically

around their unique work and family schedule.

 

For all decorating jobs and timelines, we work on a 4-step process:

  1. CONSULT   |   2. GATHER   |   3. INSTALL   |   4. REVEAL

 

Each job is unique and the times listed below are approximate. Once we have have had our initial consultation, we can give you a better idea of overall timing and costs.

Consultation

30 min to 1 hour

It all starts when we come to your house for walk-through and a chance for us to get to know you, your space, and your goals. We'll set intentions and a deadline for the next step: gathering.

​There is a $50 consultation fee that will be waived for clients that agree to book our services within 7 days of the consultation.

Reveal

Approx. 15 min

Our favorite part of every job!

At the end of the installation, we take the time to walk you through the transformation, showing you what we've done and where all your things have been placed.

Gathering

1-2 hours

We (or you) gather your items, make any new purchases, and get ready for installation. It's up to you whether you handle this portion on your own or we can take care of the entire process.

Costs

Varies

We work on an hourly rate of $150/hr (one rate for 2 people). Additional costs may include, new decor requests (lights, wreaths, etc.), and a flat rate shopping fee (one per project). All fees/costs are discussed at the consultation.

Installation

2-4 hours

This is the part where you get to enjoy your life and we get to the good stuff. We unpack all of your items and get to decorating. If our timing is efficient and your schedule allows, we finish with the next step: the reveal.
